Lynton’s Conservation division recently visited the world-famous Museo Nacional del Prado in Madrid, Spain to install a Compact Phoenix system in its Conservation department and train conservators in its use. The museum has purchased both Nd:YAG and Er:YAG laser handpieces to help preserve its wonderful collections of European art dating from the 12th to the early 20th-century. The collection is based on the former Spanish Royal collection and contains important pieces by Goya, El Greco, Rubens, Titian and Velazquez among others.
